Here are some of the websites we use in school to help with your child’s learning. Many of them you can access from home too.
Should you need a reminder of any of the passwords please ask your child’s teacher.
All of our Key Stage 2 home reading books have an online quiz to do once your child has read the book. Every pupil in Key Stage 2 has a user name and password for this site and can earn points by reading books. How many points can your child achieve this year?7
In your child’s Home Reading Journal, their book band is recorded. If you would like to check if a book is suitable for your child, you can search on this website and it will provide the ‘book level’. This can be checked against your child’s book band level.
Spelling, punctuation and grammar are important parts of English. Each week, your child’s teacher sets challenges based on what the class have been learning about in lessons. Every pupil in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 has a user name and password for this site.
Many children in school have a Lexia log in. Lexia helps children with their reading and spelling in a child friendly and fun way. Each child has their own log in as they track their own way through the level. For each level they complete they will receive a certificate in our reward assembly on a Friday.
